Our fifth project in the moorages of Seattle offers an efficient yet spacious approach to floating home design. The close proximity to neighbors offers unique living experiencing, but also interesting design considerations. The house features an inverted floor plan, with more private spaces on the dock level and the living and kitchen areas above to take advantage of the views. Per the clients’ request, the home will have a clean, contemporary aesthetic with stained cedar and high density cement panels on the exterior and rich, subtle interior finishes.
