This high bank waterfront home, about an hour north of Seattle, is our third project with this client.  It replaced a tiny cabin and was located to fit tightly within a complex array of code mandated setbacks. Set broadside to the shoreline, every room in this 2,500 sf house has spectacular views of the water and the peaks of the Olympic Mountains to the west.  Decidedly traditional in style by request, the floor plans nonetheless support the easy, open interaction of a modern lifestyle while still providing cozy window seat nooks and other getaway spaces for guests and several generations of visiting family.

The interior has white cabinets and trim in combination with clear wood beams, floors, doors, and windows.  The exterior cladding includes a true stone veneer base, stained cedar shingles, and painted board and batten siding.
