LAKE UNION FLOATING HOME I | SEATTLE, WASHINGTON

Back to Floating Homes

The dilapidated condition of this floating home required extensive renovation. We completely demolished the old, worn shack and constructed atop the original old growth log raft. Our design for the new home features 10′ high ceilings which fill the space with nature daylight. Similarly, the use of a carefully considered open floor plan allows for a home that is both comfortable in scale and flexible to needs of the client. A hint of Asian influence pervades the finishes and material composition of both interior and exterior elements.
